BellyBolly is a fun drop-in class for those who are new to either Bollywood or belly dance, as well as those who have already trained at both to some level. It focuses on allowing the styles to be fused, combining the sultry style of belly dance with the vibrant, energetic style of Bollywood. 

Each week we will work on a new routine including basic belly dance techniques and some classic Bollywood moves. We will emphasise and learn how to isolate movements as required in belly dance and also be able to loosen the muscles as required in Bollywood. The real challenge is being able to switch from one style to the other. Whilst doing this we learn to acquire correct posture, confidence and toning as well as attaining greater flexibility in movement.

    Booking Details:  The venue allows access to the dance studio and changing rooms. We dance in bare feet although ballet shoes or jazz trainers can be worn. Wear comfortable clothing such as yoga wear or leggings and t-shirts or tank tops. We suggest bringing a bottle of water with you to stay hydrated during the class.


    Membership Fees: Danceworks studios requires a £5 daily membership fee from non members which is payable at reception upon entry to the studio.  


    Fees are non-refundable / non transferable.Drop-In price is total fee per person.
